OUR COMPANY
Founded in 2019, AMA Corporation is the visionary parent company behind Hobby Horizon.
The journey began when our founder, Truong Nguyen, decided to return to Vietnam after a decade of living and working in the United States. Armed with an MBA from UCLA and inspired by the electric atmosphere of global giants like San Diego Comic-Con and Anime Expo, Truong returned with a mission: to give back to his home country.
AMA Corporation was established to bridge the gap, bringing those same world-class, high-quality event experiences to the vibrant community of fans in Vietnam.

PETER HOANG PHAM
With over 20 years of global event experience, Peter was scouted while he was still producing for 100k attendee events in the Philippines, and was invited back to Vietnam to work on Hobby Horizon season two. He met with Truong at Pokémon World Championships in Yokohama, Japan, where the two started planning the steps needed to elevate pop-culture events.
Peter has been an integral part of laying down the foundation, connecting partners, building communities, and guiding the team towards producing international experiences. For his dedication, we are formally recognizing him as an Honorary Co-Founder of Hobby Horizon. As he moves forward in 2026 with personal goals (congratulations!), he will be taking a step back from the spotlight, and supporting the event in other ways.
